Hello everybody!
Today I visited two workshops - with Paul at the morning and Rachel in noon session.
There is description from Major Project Workshop's list:
"Composition: Dual-platform Formats, led by Paul Bailey"
How can you compose a piece of design to satisfy two functions 1) poster 2)
dust-jacket? You will explore the use of grid systems, experiment with folding
techniques and enter the exciting world of designing for dual-platform formats.
This workshop will assist you the wrap-around dust-jacket element of the MP01
brief.
I like this session, it was interesting and useful in knowledge. Finally got the understanding of the design usability and communication in both formats. Also seen a lot of lovely prototypes produced during the workshop. It was a bit confusing after Paul added image and text, but the results were also good for 30 minutes work. So I hope everyone had such fun :D
